The export dialog is the central point for creating documents and files from "Le Chansonnier" application.
Those files can be pretty-formated PDF songs, song lists, backups, statistic reports ...
Just select what you want to export in the list on the left, enter the appropriate parameters then click "Export" and you're done.
Song(s) as PDF
Create PDF documents containing selected song, one PDF per song. In the "Selection" tab, you can choose which songs will be exported: - None: no very useful choice
- Selected: all the songs currently selected in the "Song List" will be exported.
- All: all the songs will be exported.
And some format parameters:- Song layout: Choose the page area used to display the song: the full (A4) page or the page upper square.
- Chord language: Choose the 'language' used for chord names (English = "A", "B", "C" or French = "Do", "Ré", "Mi" ...).
- Display diagrams: check to print diagrams showing chord's finger positions along with the song.

Songbook as PDF
Create a single PDF document containing all the songs of the current songbook. The created document contains title, index, bookmarks and songs. It is ready to be printed.Format parameters: - Song layout: Choose the page area used to display the song: the full (A4) page or the page upper square.
- Create a chord booklet: When the song is printed one the upper square, use the remaining part to create a chord booklet.
- Chord language: Choose the 'language' used for chord names (English = "A", "B", "C" or French = "Do", "Ré", "Mi" ...).
- Display diagrams: check to print diagrams showing chord's finger positions along with the song.

Backup all 'chansonnier' application data
Export all application data including song texts and author images. This backup can be restored or re-imported easily afterwards. This task don't let you choose the export type or the filename because a maximum of standardization of the output will leadto more robustness in the backup/restore process. The "Restore Backup" import task is the symmetric import task doing the invert action of this one.

Export selected data
Export selected application data and/or media. This export gives you the maximum flexibility about what you want to export Parameters: - In the "selection" tab you choose what are the song/authors/songbooks you will export:
- None: no very useful choice
- Selected: all the song/authors/songbooks currently selected in the song/authors/songbooks panel will be exported.
- All: all the song/authors/songbooks will be exported.
- In addition to the previous selection, the "browse" tab allow to extend the set of selected objects.For example if you have selected 3 songs in the Song List to be exported and you check "Browse from songs to authors",then the authors of those 3 songs will be added to the exported set.
- The "media" tab, you can choose to additional export the image of each exported author and/or the song text of eachexported song.
The "Import chansonnier data" task is the symmetric import task doing the invert action of this one.

Songbook for Android
Export all the songs of the current songbook songs in a single Zip archive. The exported file is in the format expected by the Android 'Chansonnier' application. Copy the resulting file in the "/Music" directory of your Android smartphone SD card and they will automatically be available in theAndroid "Chansonnier" application.

Song text(s)
Create text documents containing selected song (one text file per song). When songs are exported like this, it easy to import them in another "Le Chansonnier" application with the "Import song from text file" import taskor simply by dropping the song file on the application.

Song list
List all the songs defined in the database along with some song data. This list can be exported in plain text or in CSV format to be read in a spreadsheet application (like "Open Office Calc" or "Microsoft Excel")

Song statistics
Create a report attention points about your song database. The reported points are: - Song without text: List the songs that have no "text body".
- Songs without chords: list the song that does not define any guitar chord.
